How can art drive
change
?

Create4Adelaide had a sister project in Scotland, one year ago: Create4Glasgow, an unprecedented participatory project building on the legacy of COP26.

During 8 months, 800 young people of Glasgow and local artists-in-residence have worked side by side to create 250 artworks that raise awareness on local environmental issues and inspire action. Today, they hand over to the young people of Adelaide!

SA collective for climate action

In 2019, a collective of South Australian artists launched the #climatebadges action to inspire positive climate action in their community. Artists were invited to send climate badges to those they saw taking action against climate change. They launched an Instagram campaign to raise awareness on environmental issues and the badges were exhibited at Adelaide Town Hall.
